The AlgoBot IB Screener is a comprehensive tool for monitoring institutional price levels (IB Levels) simultaneously across multiple markets. Built on the AlgoBot IB Levels indicator, this screener provides real-time tracking of key institutional price levels and directional changes, empowering traders to anticipate market movements more accurately. By monitoring up to 20 tickers per instance, traders can quickly expand their market coverage by adding multiple instances of the screener to a single chart.
Designed for both short-term and long-term strategies, the AlgoBot IB Screener allows traders to track price proximity to key institutional levels, visualize market trends, and set up alerts to stay informed of significant changes in market structure—all without constantly monitoring the charts.
Key Features
Multi-Market Screener:
The Multi-Market Screener feature enables traders to monitor up to 20 symbols per instance of the script. Each row displays essential data for the selected tickers, including the nearest bullish and bearish IB levels, the price’s relative position between these levels, and the type and direction of the last/current IB level. Users can set up multiple instances of the screener to track additional symbols beyond the initial 20.
IB Level Tracking:
The IB Level Tracking functionality displays the closest bullish and bearish IB levels relative to each symbol’s current price. Users can choose to see these levels as exact price values or as percentage distances from the current price. The Score column provides a percentage-based view (from 0% to 100%) showing how far the price is from the nearest bullish and bearish levels. This information helps traders more effectively identify potential areas of support and resistance.
Alert System:
With the built-in Alert System, traders can set up notifications to be triggered when IB levels change direction. The alerts include two primary conditions: “Switch to UPTREND,” when the previous IB was bearish, and the current IB is bullish, and “Switch to DOWNTREND,” when the previous IB was bullish and the current IB is bearish. Custom placeholders can be used in alert messages to dynamically include information like ticker name, price, and timeframe. The screener also has a queuing mechanism to manage TradingView’s alert limits, ensuring all alerts are sent without interruptions.
Ticker Import and Configuration:
The Ticker Import and Configuration feature allows users to import a list of symbols directly from a CSV file. Users can also customize the ticker format by adding prefixes and suffixes to match the naming conventions of different exchanges. This is a time-saving feature, especially for traders managing many tickers. The screener supports up to 20 tickers per instance and displays them in a clean, organized table.
Customizable Display and Layout:
The Customizable Display and Layout option allows traders to personalize the appearance of the screener by adjusting row position, column widths, and color schemes for better readability. The Score (SCR) system color-codes different market stages—bullish, bearish, or neutral—making it easier to interpret market conditions at a glance. The screener also supports a fixed size of 20 rows, ensuring consistent formatting on the chart.
